Jacmel (Pistons)

Pistons is located in the Bay of Jacmel. This bay is
extreemly deep. Thus good wave form easily here when ever there is swell.
Morning offshores are the norm so do afternoons get good when wind switches
back. What gives the wave its shape is both the river mouth and a boat that was
beached about 80 years ago. Its engine stick out of the water thus giving the
name

Cap-Haitien (Ginsus)

This spot is not that easily accessible from the road.
You must go in from the next cove over if you don't want sea urchins in you. I
have seen this thing do a reverse teaupou thing. It is super fast but very
rippable. Nice Tube but be carefull not to be to close!!! The wave begins on dry
reef!!!
